Privacy policy

This policy explains what the LabX Tech app collects and how it is used. LabX Tech (Plot No. 54, Industrial Zone (B-G), Obour City, Qalyubia, Egypt) is responsible for this data.

What we collect

Account details: name, job title, mobile number and, when you add it, your email address.
Company details your company enters, such as branch addresses.
What you send us: quotation requests, maintenance tickets, notes, messages, visit ratings, and the photos and files you choose to attach.
An app-generated installation ID, used to manage your sign-in session on this device.

For employee accounts, when you choose to check in or check out, we collect your device location and its accuracy after requesting location permission, to verify attendance at the work location. The precision depends on the permission you grant. We do not collect location in the background. Voice recordings are collected only when you choose to record and send a voice message; microphone permission is requested for recording. We use these recordings to respond to your requests. We do not collect contacts, advertising identifiers or browsing history. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

How we use it

To sign you in (your mobile number receives a one-time code through our SMS provider).
To answer your quotation requests, handle maintenance tickets and visits, and show your company's orders, invoices, devices and warranties.
To contact you about your requests.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Service providers that run the app for us (hosting and SMS delivery) process it only on our behalf.

Security and retention

All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep account details while the account exists; company documents are kept as accounting and legal rules require.

Your rights

You can view and update your details in the app, and delete your account from More → Edit profile → Delete account.
